new GEN3 porsche billet heads

The CMW Motorsports billet head will pull maximum power out of your Porsche. The new head is designed around Bob Cousimano’s patented* D-shaped exhaust port. It produces as much as 30% more usable power over the stock head with complete reliability. Our head will bolt on to any Porsche model with 6 cylinder 911 / 930 / 935 / 962 / 964 / 993 and GT2 racing engine.The D-shaped exhaust port design is a result of thousands of hours logged on the flow bench by Bob Cousimano. The D-shaped port is responsible for improved exhaust velocity and efficiency. As a result, exhaust gasses are completely scavenged with each combustion cycle. This allow more power to be produced.

The CMW Motorsports Billet Porsche head has been designed to use two spark plugs per cylinder. Because of the racing-type twin plug set up, complete combustion is achieved.
Each head is machined from a solid billet of aluminum. Compared with the aluminum castings used by the “factory,” the billet has no porosity, is stronger and cools much more evenly. As a result, head flex, cracking, as well as hot and cold spots are no longer a concern.

Each billet is machine on our Haas four axis, computer-numerical-controlled (CNC) vertical milling machine. This makes it possible to manufacture a head without dimensional fluctuations in the important aspects. Therefore, valve angle, spark plug angle, spark plug index and other features of the heads are identical to each other.To insure uniform performance each CMW Motorsports Billet Head is thoroughly flow tested on our Super Flow 1020 Flow Bench prior to shipment.
